Wall of Famer 2014
On Sunday, April 27 at 3 pm, as part of the spring concert of the Suzuki String School of Guelph at the River Run Centre at 3 pm, Karen Haack will be named to the Guelph Youth Music Centre Wall of Fame.
The Wall of Fame honours individuals whose career or volunteer activities have contributed significantly to instilling in Guelph area young people from all walks of life, a life-long appreciation for music and/or the arts.
Combining her love of young children and music, Karen has spent more than 30 years introducing the tiniest pre-schoolers to musical instruments, song and movement to music, and sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm by teaching and mentoring other teachers. She feels strongly that music is for everyone, and that everyone can make music.
Congratulations, Karen! Thank you for all that you continue to do for music in Guelph.
