The health and safety of all those who engage at the GYMC is our first and continuing priority as together we face the challenges posed by this unprecedented situation where schools and all non-essential businesses in Ontario are closed.
In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep people home, the Government of Ontario HAS EXTENDED THE DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY and associated emergency measures, including the closure of non-essential workplaces and restrictions on social gatherings. This action is based on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health.
In compliance with this recent announcement, the GYMC WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 15, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and based on information provided by the provincial government and public health scientists, we will update our closure status.
